Traveling the country in an RV is wonderful, but RVs can’t park just anywhere. When it’s time to rest and recharge - finding a place to stop for the night, all too often, becomes the most stressful part of the day. Most RVers simply want a safe place to park with hook-ups.
The myth of “Free Parking”. FREE parking in public places like Truck Stops, a Wal-Mart or Cracker Barrel isn’t...really...free. There are intangible costs considering most Travelers do not rest well in worrisome surroundings with a generator running. The worries and costs vary:
Will someone knock on my door to demand I move?
Will someone bump into my RV?
Did I lock all the storage compartments?
Noisy truck brakes, car tires squealing, shopping carts clattering, trash trucks coming and going, emergency sirens wailing, and on and on...
Without a good night’s rest, free is not really...free.

Very friendly staff and great service. Very convenient location. We were in a pinch, and were grateful RV Self Park was there. We actually stayed on their “soft opening night”. Chatted with the owner for a while; has great plans for an automated booking and check- in system as well as security cameras as they near their grand opening. Great for when you’re traveling through and need hook-ups for the night. Would definitely recommend!
